About Me

My name is Brandon Isom. I’m a media professional who graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s Radio, Television, and Digital Media department. My passion is connecting people through media to a world of art they wouldn’t expect. Media is like a rope that ties us all together.

The art of documentary is powerful and influential. Using my talents with audio and video production, I can craft experiences that reach out to people. I want to use my techniques unveil the beautiful and often bizarre world we live in with all of its color and mystery. Each person has a story to tell and media makers can be a vessel for that.

I have a penchant for experimental and provocative forms of media creation. I explore the practical and impractical applications of modular synthesis and rotoscoping animation. I believe that these analog and classic forms of producing art have application in modern works. I’m not afraid to approach a project in an unorthodox way to produce something unique.
